This short film is about a guy who has 3 minutes to fight and kill an opponent, in a shipping yard style location. When the 3 minutes are up the survivor must then face a new opponent, and so the cycle continues. I think that this is a good short film because it has an intriguing plot and interesting characters that are enjoyable to watch. It uses range of shots to tell the story, something that I will use in my coursework to make sure the plot is told in an effective way.

This short film is about a boy and a deaf girl who meet each other during break one day at school. They click with one another instantly and begin a cute romance, all in the months leading up to the school prom. I like this short film because the plot is different to other short films and it is generally told well with interesting characters.
Plastic
This short film is one that covers the topic of self appearance and confidence in the way that we look. The film features a young female as she is getting ready for a date. As she prepares herself she discovers that her face and body are made of plastic, and so she begins to re-sculpt herself, trying to change herself into what she believes to be 'perfect'. As it gets closer to the date she realises that she doesn't feel comfortable with her new self and therefore re-moulds herself back to her original shape. The main thing that intrigues me about this short film is the use of editing to make the actress' face seem like it is made of plastic and that she can change the shape.
